A letter from Mr. Leal;

The Dallas Dodgers mission trip was a huge success.  The Dodgers took a team players that consisted of

(1) College player/coach

(5) 17/18U players

(5) 15U players

(1) 13U player

(1) 13U player

The Dallas Dodger’s played 7 games while in Nicaragua.  The boys spent the mornings doing camps and clinics all while working on a local field.  In the afternoon we would load up our equipment and travel to play games.  As an organization, we also took over 500 pounds of equipment that was distributed to the children there in Nicaragua.  The gloves, cleats, bats, bat bags, clothes and even belts we gave brought smiles to many faces.  We did not speak the language but the hugs, high “5’s” and fist-bumps said it all.  We also visited a local hospital and school as well as people on the streets while we were there.  There were over 700 people that were presented the Gospel and over 200 accepted.  The boys that had the opportunity to attend our first mission trip bonded, grew as young men and shared an incredible week of fellowship.

This was such a rewarding experience and the Dodgers will be putting together a team next summer 2013.

Goal & Mission:

     We are very exited to announce that the Dallas Dodgers will be taking a team to Managua, Nicaragua this summer, from July 27th - August 3rd.  The Dodger team will be combining their efforts with  Faith Field Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida to mentor and facilitate clinics for those in need.  We will be traveling as a team to Jacksonville, Florida to participate in a tournament with them Faith Field Ministries, then we will together fly to Managua, Nicaragua.  Our goal is to build a foundation of support for areas of the world that do not have the same opportunites we have in America.

Our Goal & Mission:

- Pre-ship over 2500lbs. of equipment

- Sending over 50 dozen baseballs

- Conduct baseball clinics

- Renovate baseball fields

- Visit local hospitals

- Participate in an International Tournament

We pray that we will make a difference in the lives of young ball players in areas of the world who do not have the same privileges that we have.
