 - Mark Moore -

     Mark started playing baseball in San Francisco, CA at the age of 10. During his first season Mark earned the league’s most valuable player award and helped his team to their first championship victory.  Mark continued playing competitive youth baseball in the California Bay Area and finally in South Texas when his family moved to the Gulf Coast. While in college Mark played two seasons for the Whitecaps in Galveston, Texas. Mark had 46 starts as a freshman playing 3B and LF. His batting average was .319 over two seasons. In the fall of 1988 Mark transferred to Texas A&M University in Galveston where he earned a BS in Maritime Administration with a minor in Mathematics in 1990.  Mark has been coaching competitive youth baseball in North Texas since 2003. His focus is on the players and how they can be their best. Mark believes that a positive approach coupled with hard work and dedication produces gentleman ballplayers both on and off the field.
